For Derbyshire County Council’s elections on 1st May, Matthew Gotheridge will be standing as the Conservative Candidate for Linton Division to represent the communities of Catton, Cauldwell, Coton in the Elms, Drakelow, Linton, Lullington, Netherseal, Overseal, Rosliston and Walton upon Trent.
Matthew serves as a district councillor in South Derbyshire where he is a member of the planning committee. He believes passionately in standing up for our rural communities and shares the concerns of many local residents about plans for the incinerator on our doorstep as well as proposals for solar farms in the division. If elected Matthew will work closely with parish councils across the division to address issues that matter to local residents including concerns around traffic and road safety.
