South Derbyshire Members Elect New Association Officers for 2026/27

At the Association’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday 12 June, members elected a new team of officers who will help lead South Derbyshire Conservatives through the coming year as preparations continue for a crucial period of local campaigning.

The officers elected for 2026/27 are:

  • President: Cllr Julie Patten
  • Chairman: Cllr Daniel Corbin
  • Deputy Chairman (Political & Campaigning): Cllr Kerry Haines
  • Deputy Chairman (Membership): Miss Catherine Hepton
  • Deputy Chairman (Fundraising): Cllr David Muller
  • Treasurer: Mr Adrian Argyle

Members also paid tribute to Cllr Sundip Meghani, who stepped down from the management team after several years of dedicated service. The Association expressed its sincere gratitude for his commitment and contribution in the various roles he has undertaken over the years.

The Association is particularly pleased to welcome Cllr Kerry Haines as the new Deputy Chairman (Political & Campaigning), where she will play a key role in supporting our local election campaign and strengthening Conservative representation across South Derbyshire.

During the meeting, members received updates on the Association’s activities over the past twelve months, heard about plans for the year ahead, and had the opportunity to put questions to both Association and Area officers.

South Derbyshire Conservatives would like to thank all members who attended and look forward to working together to deliver a successful year of campaigning and engagement across the constituency.
