Peter is the Leader of the Conservative group and Opposition on South Derbyshire District Council and is also County Councillor for Swadlincote North. He has a distinguished business career and runs a management training and coaching business which has given him excellent leadership skills and has put him in a strong position to help local businesses succeed.
Gillian has lived in South Derbyshire for over 15 years. She currently works in finance and has set up her own financial consultancy in 2008, specialising in retail, hospitality and leisure. A member of the UK Royal Volunteer Service, she is passionate about supporting local communities.
Sundip lives in Hilton and works as a solicitor for an international organisation. Sundip is originally from Leicester, where previously he served a 4-year term as a city councillor. In the past, he has also volunteered as a school governor, charity trustee, and Police Authority member. If elected, Sundip wants to focus his attention on reducing anti-social behaviour, protecting the beauty and character of our villages, and improving local amenities and infrastructure. Sundip particularly wants to lobby big tech companies to enhance mobile phone signal and broadband speed in our area.
