District Councillor for Hatton
Julie has been a District Councillor since 2007 - 2023 and again from 2024. She also served as a County Councillor from 2009 - 2025. She has lived and worked in Derbyshire for all of her life and has 2 daughters who previously attended the local schools in South Derbyshire.
As a Councillor, Julie has worked tirelessly for the community, supporting businesses and as a Cabinet Member at County, initiatives to support Young People, Education and child-related services. She is a champion for her local community, protecting green spaces, planning and giving villagers a strong voice in local government.
